Colt is a decentralized, meta-stablecoin protocol on SagaEVM that lets users mint and redeem Saga Dollar (symbol: D) using other stablecoins and yield-bearing assets. Each D token is backed 1:1 by USD-denominated reserves, allowing D to be soft-pegged to the USD.
Unlike traditional models that pay out the stablecoin's underlying yield to passive holders or stakers, Colt flips the script: reserve earnings are redirected to D borrowers as interest rebates, subsidizing their credit cost. This demand-centric mechanism elevates D's supply–demand equilibrium, unlocking better rates and capital efficiency for both lenders and borrowers.
